Join us on the Mount Cootha Summit Hike

It is a popular paved walking trail in Brisbane starting from the JC Slaughter Falls picnic area.

The hike is easy to moderate and is 5.3km return

Meet at the picnic area prior to starting the hike, we will be hiking in the dark so please bring a headtorch and water.

  Everyone is welcome for our local hikes. We encourage you to bring a friend of come alone

• What is the difficulty level?

  This hike is considered moderate, we will take our time and hike together

• What should I bring?

  Bring a water bottle, and some snacks

• Is it dog friendly?

  Yes, dogs are allowed on this hike

• What happens if it is bad weather?

  If it is raining, we will continue with rain jackets. If it is more severe, we will let you know ahead of time if the hike needs to be rescheduled.
